Landsby Wines is the passion project of a husband and wife team dedicated to producing premium, handcrafted wines from the heart of Paso Robles. Inspired by the Danish word for “village,” Landsby embodies the spirit of community, craftsmanship, and sustainability. Our wine is built on a shared love for the land and a deep respect for the art of winemaking.
The Winemaker
Getting his start during high school summers in upstate New York working on a family vineyard, Oliver quickly found his life’s passion in the vines. After high school Oliver pursued his hunger for winemaking and viticulture at the University of Davis California. Between 2011-2017 Oliver traveled to Spain, Australia, New York, and California to learn all he could about producing wine and creating good soil. For Oliver, it has never been about just the winemaking, but about the essence of creating a beverage starting from the roots. Oliver’s winemaking style demonstrates the expression of the soils from which the grapes were grown, the climate in which they thrived in, and the wildlife environment that influenced their health. Oliver believes in “growing” wine, because that is where wine truly begins.
